Miami is where foreigners want to go — and by foreigners, we’re not counting our Canadian cousins.

According to South Florida Business Journal, more foreigners are landing at Miami International than any other airport in America.

The reason: CSI Miami.

Florida hasn’t always been the top location for tourists due to the locals robbing, hassling and killing visitors to the Sunshine state. However, that reputation has been replaced by the popular television show overseas. Much like Baywatch boosting Beach Blanket Bingo in Santa Monica, CSI Miami (the best CSI on television) has obviously helped make Miami’s image.

After all, who wouldn’t want to go to a city where crimes are always solved in 12 hours and lab results come back within seconds. And while the Miami we’ve visited is not much like the one we see on CSI, we’d much rather visit that place filled with beautiful people, late night clubs and just a touch of intrigue.

So pull off those sunglasses and look for the corniest line possible, CSI style. Miami may still be a little dangerous, but when Horatio is on the watch, justice isn’t far behind.
