PC  Mag.com has reported that Virgin America will begin offering free wifi through Google and for all passengers Nov. 10 – Jan. 15.  The system will work through Virgin’s normal provider Gogo Inflight Internet.

Virgin already offers Internet access on most of its flights for a smallcompaq_laptop_hire fee — ranging between $5 and $10 depending on the length of the flight. To make inflight goggling easier, 110 volt power outlets are now located near most seats, which makes that made rush at the gate to power up a little less necessary.
