We’ve all gotten a little hot under the collar when driving. It happens, and that asshole didn’t need to cut us off.
But now, AutoVantage has taken its rage on the road. — something anyone visiting America should take to heart. Nothing will ruin a trip if the rental spends more time in traffic than it does at the beach parking lot.
Then again, the survey seems a little questionable.
Worst Cities:
1. New York: Other than taxi cab drivers, no one drives in the Big Apple. In fact most people don’t own cars there.
2. Dallas/Ft. Worth: Sure the Big D may have some traffic issues, but road rage usually sputters when everyone has a gun.
3. Detroit: There isn’t much traffic and the only lane crowded is the exit lane. Not sure why it’s on this list.
4. Atlanta: OK, this place deserves to be on the list.
5. Minneapolis/St. Paul: We didn’t know they drive year round.
Best cities (Most car friendly)
1. Portland, Ore: Even better if you’re on a bike.
2. Cleveland: Would be worse if people lived there.
3. Baltimore: It’s nice only if you don’t have to commute.
4. Sacramento: We didn’t know this was an actual city.
5. Pittsburgh: Amish don’t have road rage because they’re carrying a whip.
A few cities should have been mentioned for traffic issues and bad drivers in general. Los Angeles, Boston, Phoenix, Miami, Denver, Charlotte and Seattle.
