What kind of hipster would pick work over a party?
The Commander and Chief of Cool has decided not to attend the 20th Anniversary of the Berlin Wall falling on Nov. 9, according to ABC News. Instead, the White House says the president will do presidential things. He originally RSVP’d but then later said he flaked and couldn’t get a last minute flight.
Parties and funerals officially fall under the the vice president’s purview, but it was unclear Wednesday morning if Joe Biden will be attending the celebration in Germany.
Obama’s decsion was unpopular with Der Vaterland, where media has reported on the president’s decision like a father blowing off a step son’s afternoon kindergarten parade for work.
Howe ver, Obama will head out on a 10 day tour of Asia on Nov. 11.
