Authorities are still sifting through the wreckage after the the Rwandair aircraft smashed into a building in Kigil that left one person dead.
According to reports of the incident, the plane took off for Entebbe and then quickly returned to Kanombe International Airport, citing some sort of mechanical problem.
The plane, apparently came to a full stop and suddenly, either the plane lurched forward and into a nearby building or the building lurched forward into the plane. One passenger was killed during the accident, which would have been bad enough — had emergency personnel not have killed a number of other people.
One of the ambulances used to transport injured passengers to the hospital was involved a serious traffic accident, killing more people than the original plane accident.
Airline authorities are still investigating the plane accident, local authorities are looking into the traffic incident.
