xin_152040601224298432511The president is in the middle of his eight-day Asian tour — what would you do with your own personal Air Force? — and stopped by China to try some Mongolian beef with noodles.

He also spoke to the Chinese equivalent to the Young Republicans club, but without the hostility. (Bad form is just not allowed in China.)

The staged Town Hall meeting — which included carefully screened guests, much like the town hall meetings in the U.S. — was as eventful as President Obama’s meeting with Chinese leaders.china

We’re not sure what sights the president was able to take in, and it appears the Chief Executive of Hip does not have the same rock star status in the world’s most populated nation.

But that’s the downside of any trip when it becomes more business than pleasure. We do hope he had a chance to walk along the Great Wall, as well as play a little Bacarac at one of the casinos.
