Ft. Lauderdale airport loses Virginity for $99
South Florida has opened its airports to Virgin America and it didn’t even cost $100.
Ft. Lauderdale becomes the 10th destination for the growing U.S.-based airline and for a limited time, Virgin America is offering a $99 ticket from Ft. Lauderdale to Los Angeles or San Francisco. Flights must be taken before March 10.
“We’re pleased to make the world-class South Florida market the newest
destination in our growing network,” said Virgin America President and CEO David Cush in a news release. “At a time when consumers are more discerning than ever about where they spend their travel dollars, we’re excited to inject competition into the market by offering Golden State to Gold Coast travelers the best of both worlds: unrivalled service and incredibly low fares.”
Actually, there are even better deals being offered by Virgin. In it’s new Go Golden campaign, there are tickets being offered from LAX to SFO for $39, BOS to LAX for $99 and BOS to SFO, $99; JFK to LAS, $99; and a bunch of other cheap flights.
