There are some things you just can’t take with you — at least if you’re flying, for example handguns, handgrendades andnow_Full cranberry sauce.

Oh, there are plenty of things at yesterday’s table that just can’t go in your carry on bag and you may not want to pack in your checked luggage as well — as the density of pumpkin pie could easily push that bag well over the typical 50 pound limit many airlines allow before a penalty is imposed.Security-TSAsign-DEF

According to the TSA, here’s a full list of things you just can’t bring with you and you’ll be forced to toss along with your full bottle of water as you go through security.

  • Cranberry sauce
  • Cologne
  • Creamy dips and spreads
    (cheeses, peanut butter, etc.)
  • Gift baskets with food items
    (salsa, jams and salad dressings)
  • Gravy
  • Jams
  • Jellies
  • Lotions
  • Maple syrup
  • Oils and  vinegars
  • Perfume
  • Salad dressing
  • Salsa
  • Sauces
  • Snowglobes

We’re not sure who had snow globes for Thanksgiving, but it’s on the list.
