KariFarrell-wantedShe only needed six months in a Salt Lake City to see the wickedness of her ways — or gain a little more notoriety.

Now, the notorious Hipster Gifter, an Asian woman with a bad haircut and even worse tattoos, is heading back to Williamsburg. It’s there, the Hipster capital of the world, where Keri Ferrell left her mark, scamming plaid clad hipsters out of their parents money.

According to NBC, she spent her time incarcerated writing letters to bloggers and getting features on various news magazine shows. She’s famous for all of the wrong reasons and could possibly have a float during the Macy’s Day Parade — the woman even had a Law and Order episode created in her honor. Check out her interview with The Daily Beast.

No doubt a book deal is in order and she’ll be working on that after sifting through all of the job offers. (NBC makes Gawker the odds on favorite, who are we to disagree.)

But eventually, work is going to feel like work and passing bad checks will start to have its appeal again.

This won’t be the last story we see about the Hipster Grifter, it’s only a matter of time.
