Sure, there may be long lines, grumpy passengers and other wonderful things at most airports during this holiday season, but AXE (you know, those people with the adolescent smelly body spray?) have commissioned an annual survey for the best and worst airports to meet someone special.

Naturally, this could include the male of female floosey sitting next to you (though that particular person tends to be of the same sex as you, just 100 pounds more, or worse, reeking of AXE). Or that dreamy flight attendant in Business Class but she’s just a fictional character. AXE, however, has taken a different approach — and it doesn’t require you douse you’re entire person in body spray.

It has determined that Liberty International Airport in Newark, NJ is the best airport in the world to find your soul mate or at least a date. Of course, it’s a dubious honor, because it means that Newark has more delayed flights than any where else. (This leaves time for “first-class” flirting according AXE.) All of those on time places just aren’t made for practicing pick up lines.

Thailand’s airport was one of the worst for picking up a date of legal age, though Phoenix was considered the overall worst place to find a date — we’re not sure if its because of how timely the flights are or because everyone in the city is an AARP member.
