Which is worse? Being stranded on a Greyhound bus in West Virginia or earning a free trip on Greyhound because you were stranded too long on your last trip?
Forty-five lucky passengers, mostly runaways and unemployed musicians, en-route to Detroit, found themselves out in the cold in Charleston,WV, when their transfer bus was nowhere to be found, according to the Associated Press.
The group sat around for three hours in a parked bus with no heat Monday as they waited for their next ride. Fortunately for them, they did not have to wait in the actual bus station, which was closed. This would be the equivalent to getting a free coach ticket on the next flight after your plane crashed.
After hearing complaints, Greyhound said it would investigate the matter and provide passengers with free tickets. Merry Christmas.
