More bad weather: Continental suspends flights out of Newark

That damn snow is stalling everything.

Continental Airlines will temporarily halt flights out of its biggest hub Wednesday as the second big snowfall hits the New York area.

Meanwhile fliers around the country should expect big delays through Thursday due to the winter weather hitting the Northeast and Midwest United States.

The best thing to do is avoid traveling during this time frame — and Continental will let you change your flight free of charge if its going to one of the impacted areas. If your flight is canceled, you may also be eligible for a refund.

While the company says the best way to change flights or find another is through the airline’s website, you can also call the reservation desk at 800-525-0280.

Happy Trails.
