Investigators are still trying to figure out how two commuter trains hit each other in Belgium today, which may have left 20 people dead, according to Times Online.
Rescue workers were still cutting through the wreckage to pull passengers out of the trains that hit each other at a suburb about eight miles outside of Brussels, the Times Online reported.
Reuters reported that only 10 people were confirmed dead and that high-speed rail services with Briton and France had been suspended for the immediate future as the accident is investigated.
Prior to the accident, it was a typical Monday morning commute for most workers in Belgium, a country which does not celebrate President’s Day, though it may want to consider it next year.
