The Federal Aviation Administration announced Friday that a new rocket deployed airplane parachute systems has been created by Cirrus (an small plane builder).
We totally approve of people using small private planes. First of all, because they are super cool. Second of all, because they are totally awesome. Thirdly, because there is no TSA agents waiting for you at little airports. You can wear a giant belt buckle and your coat when hopping onto your plane. In fact, if you have a thermos, you’ve got hot coffee at the ready and and your passengers never have to turn off their iPod when you’re landing.
Now, there’s a new system — that has actually been around for a while — for small planes. A rocket deployed parachute. Check out the video at the end of this story.
We found a video on the actual new system, and you can find it too on Youtube, but it’s so boring and herky jerky, we decided to show you this video instead.
