We know we’re small — but that’s never bothered us.
While we may be small, we’ve actually found out today that we’re a little bigger than we thought — we’ve had 1,008,032 hits on the site through April 8. (Yeah, yeah, we know hits aren’t that important anymore, it’s all about unique visitors and page views. Well, we’re doing pretty well in those categories as well — at least in our book, with April on pace to be a record month.)
It’s a small number and those big old travel sites have millions of people every month rolling up the hit meter like crazy. But we’re not any other site, and while we still have to hang on to our day jobs — we’re growing.
So we’d like to thank everyone who has come across our site and clicked on a story or two. (And please, go click on those Travel Zoo ads to the right — we get paid when you do, and we think TZ offers some great deals — even if they didn’t pay us almost enough money to host the site for a month.)
