Virgin America goes international

Virgin America has added an international flight to its list of places to go to.

Sure, it may only be Canada, but it’s one of our two most favorite Canadian cities, Toronto.

Beginning June 23, Virgin Atlantic will begin flying direct flights from LAX and SFO  to YYZ (even the code for Toronto is unassuming). Flights will start at a very reasonable $212 one-way. If you want to get back to the States, it’ll cost another $212.

“We are delighted to welcome Virgin America to Toronto Pearson,” said Lloyd McCoomb, President and CEO of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, in a news release.  “Virgin America’s expansion into Toronto is a testament to the strong business and tourism ties between Canada and the U.S. “
