New rules take effect on booking tickets

us-passport-1No one likes new rules. We were just getting used to the other ones and now things are changing again.

It’s all part of the Homeland Security’s Secure Flight program.

So here’s the deal: You need to look at what you use for ID and make sure the name matches exactly. Then you need to match that to your frequent flier program card and make sure that matches too. No middle initial on your FF ID? Then don’t put it on your ticket.

This may sound easy, but just wait until these rules are re-interrupted by the people working the metal detector.
