No one likes a strike — except the people trying to get better pay.
But the British courts, apparently, don’t like the idea of cabin crews shutting down the airline and stranding passengers all around the world.
“We are delighted that the High Court injunction to stop the 20 days of strikes planned by Unite has been successful,” British Airway’s website declared.
“We have now started to reinstate some of our previously cancelled longhaul flights on 18 May into and out of Heathrow.”
Of course union officials plan to appeal the ruling, according to media reports. At least the lawyers are still working.
