Everyone loves lists: So why wouldn’t you want to know the Top 10 travel destinations for this summer?
Orbitz has a pretty respectable list for you to peruse as you think about what destinations you may want to put on your own list this summer.
“Summer travelers are taking advantage of the off-season deals in destinations like Cancun, Riviera Maya and Punta Cana, all of which make our Top 10 list this year,” said Jeanenne Tornatore, Orbitz Travel Insider, in the company’s press release last week. “While average summer airfares appear to be trending higher year over year, travelers will find significant hotel savings, with the majority of the season’s top destinations averaging less than $150 a night.”
Here’s Orbitz’ complete Top 10 List. The only one we don’t understand is No. 8 during the summer. Sure, kids like Disney World, et. al, but HTG doesn’t cater to kids and Orlanda at 99 percent humidity is breath taking — meaning you can’t even breath because the air has more water vapor than actual air.
Go to some other site if you want to travel with children. Whenever we have a big trip planned and we know kids will slow us down, we put them up in a kennel.
