Sometimes you just want to hit the road — get out of town. To us, it doesn’t matter if its just because wanderlust has taken over your spirit or you’re running from the law, we don’t care why you travel, just as long as you do.
But searching through websites for places can be difficult when you’re not sure where you want to go. It could be Cancun or Calgary — it’s not so much the destination as it is the journey.
At the same time, it’s not like any of us are loaded with money — except those true hipsters who think their trust fund is actually their parent’s credit card.
Then we stumbled upon the ultra cool Farecompare.com bad ass Where-to-Go Getaway Map (we’ve set up this one for New York City). Just plug in your home airport and then check out the prices to go just about anywhere.
There are even little tabs at the bottom of the map that allows you to check different areas around the world.
Now a quick check showed that you cannot always get the price stated, depending upon when you want to travel, but it certainly expands the places you can go. It’d definitely worth a bookmark.
