Gary Coleman’s life cut too short

Different kind of stroke takes actor's life

Watchoo talking about doctor?

Gary Coleman died at 12:05 p.m. in Utah from a brain hemorrhage, according to numerous media reports.

Coleman, 42, gained fame as Arnold, the smart mouthed child of a rich white adoptive parent, on the television Different Strokes. Shortly after he started the show, he stopped growing. Some have speculated that it was either a voodoo curse or Pat Robertson prayed for the physical ailment because the religious leader despised the idea of blacks and whites living under the same roof. Robertson often does not know that real life and TV are not the same thing.

Ironically, it was the Robertson curse that allowed Coleman to stay young looking for so long. Coleman later married and divorced. While coming close a few times, Coleman never made his ulitmate life goal: 4-foot-9.

He was not held responsible for the spin off Facts of Life, which was just bad (except for Jo.)

Doctors say Coleman died of a different kind of stroke, medically known as a intracranial hemorrhage. At the peak of his career, Coleman earned $100,000 an episode. That money didn’t last long, though, Coleman blamed his parents for burning through his cash, as well as a couple of bad kidneys, which he exchanged with Thai children. In 1999, he filed for bankruptcy, according to the Foaming at the mouth TaxWatchDog.

Long live the little man. We’ll miss him, and we want to issue an apology for always being a little creeped out when we’ve seen him on TV as an adult.
