Madrid should be nice this time of year, after all, the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain.

The Mary Forgione at The LA Times Travel blog dug up this six-day adventure in Madrid for $499 including air fare on Hotwire’s Travel-Ticker. The deal includes a four-star hotel and you are allowed to upgrade if you’d like.

The best part of this deal is what you do is up to you once you get there. It’s a simple plane ticket and hotel. No piling into a tour bus or anything else.

Hotwire points out that this deal — which is flying from New York to Madrid current costs more than $650. Other cities include an additional fee to fly from, but still, you’re looking at a good deal all around.

You must book by June 4.
