SmarterTraveler.com has come up with a little contest to let you win a little travel bag — it’s a TSA compliant travel kit with a couple of bottles and a funnel. It’s kind of like those little bags people used to use to smuggle crystal meth on planes before 9/11.
The site wants National Park photos, at least the best people have taken while visiting one. Saturday is the last day to submit up to three pictures to the site.
Now, since Ansel Adams is dead, you may have a shot of actually winning. Adams, who often talked the US government into providing him with grants so he could go and take pictures in Yosemite (don’t think we haven’t thought of that plan, but so far have been turned down), would have been a big advocate of this program.
So go through your thousands of photos you took last year and find the best ones and submit them. What’s it going to hurt? And you can always make a little money on the back end by smuggling meth.
